Where We Work

Service Areas

Based in Folsom, New Jersey — serving New York and the Mid-Atlantic.

NY, NJ, PA, DE & MD — and Anywhere We’re Prequalified

ML Ruberton Construction is based at 1512 Mays Landing Rd, Folsom, NJ 08037 — the shared office of the RoadGuard family of companies. Our core service territory covers New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, and Maryland, with extensive work throughout New York City and New York State alongside our home base in South Jersey.

Folsom sits in South Jersey, within reach of the Philadelphia metro area, the New York metro area, the Delaware River crossings, and the Delmarva Peninsula — a location that puts our crews and our in-house fabrication shop within a practical drive of most of the Mid-Atlantic and New York corridor. That geography is a big part of why our core territory covers five states rather than just New Jersey: from Folsom, reaching a job site in New York City, eastern Pennsylvania, northern Delaware, or the Baltimore–Washington corridor in Maryland isn’t a special trip, it’s a normal day’s work.

Like our sister brands, we’ll go anywhere we’re prequalified across the broader Mid-Atlantic region for the right project. Our core five states — with New York now standing alongside New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, and Maryland as one of our biggest markets — are where we do the most work and know the roadway networks and agencies best, but our service area isn’t a hard boundary — it’s a reflection of where we’re already set up to work efficiently today.

Our Core Five States

New York

New York — including extensive work throughout New York City and New York State — is one of ML Ruberton’s biggest markets outside New Jersey. We work with the New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) as well as county, municipal, and private commercial clients across the state.

New Jersey

New Jersey is home base, and it’s where the largest share of our guiderail, bridge railing, signage, and fencing work happens — from the shore counties to the highway network serving the Philadelphia and New York metro areas. We work with the New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT) as well as county and municipal agencies and private commercial clients throughout the state.

Pennsylvania

Our Pennsylvania work spans the roadway network on the eastern side of the state, including the Philadelphia metro corridor and the highways connecting it to the rest of the Mid-Atlantic. We perform work for the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) as well as county and private clients.

Delaware

Delaware’s compact size and its position along the I-95 corridor and the Delmarva Peninsula make it a natural extension of our South Jersey territory. We work on projects for the Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) as well as municipal and private clients across the state.

Maryland

In Maryland, our work reaches into the Eastern Shore and the broader Baltimore–Washington corridor. We perform guiderail, bridge railing, signage, and fencing work for the Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration (MDOT SHA) as well as county and private clients.

Anywhere We’re Prequalified

Most state departments of transportation require contractors to go through a prequalification or registration process before bidding on public highway work — confirming financial capacity, safety record, and relevant experience before a contractor can be awarded a state contract. We maintain that status in our core five states, and where a project outside NY, NJ, PA, DE, or MD makes sense for our crews and fabrication capability, we’re open to going through that process in additional Mid-Atlantic and Northeast states as well, whether it’s a public agency project or a private commercial site.

That’s a meaningful distinction for anyone evaluating us for a project outside our core territory: our service area isn’t capped at five states out of licensing restrictions, it’s simply where we’re already active day to day. If your project sits just outside that map, reach out and tell us about it — we’ll give you a straight answer on whether it’s a fit, and if it is, what prequalifying in a new state would look like for our team before work begins.
